POWERFUL MAGNETRON

Scanning a whopping 96-nautical mile range, the 4, 12 or 25KW output offers superior weather, obstacle and traffic detection with true echo trails to identify moving targets and potential collision threats.

SCAN AVERAGING TECHNOLOGY

Garmin GMR 436 boasts of the all new scan averaging tech for its magnetron radar that filters out unwanted sea clutter and any interferences to enhance detection and display of targets.

HIGH PERFORMANCE ANTENNAS

The Garmin Kit comes with 100-knot wind-rated open-array antennas with rotation speeds of 24 and 48 RPMs that can scan up to 72 nautical miles on the 4 and 12 KW versions and up to 96 nautical miles on the 25KW version.
